Titicaca can be knitted alone in 1 or 2 threads for fine soft shawls or light clothing. It is also popular knitted with other yarns to add fluffiness and softness to your knitting, instead of mohair.

- Needles 1 thread 2.5-3 mm/US 2-3 (23-25 stitches in 4 in).
- Needles 2 threads 3.5-4 mm/US 4-6 (21-23 stitches in 4 in).
 1 thread of Titicaca will add approx. ½ a size to your knitting needles. Knitting it with other yarns together will add ½ to the total size of your knitting needles.
