Mota is a collection made entirely in the heart of Castilla-La Mancha, and is named to honor our roots in the town of Mota del Cuervo.
A collection that was born with the aim of continuing to support small local flocks. Ranching families that were and are very important to us, we have been working with them all our lives and we wanted to help them continue to maintain their beautiful flocks that graze in our town and surroundings.
Each contributing the finest their flock had to offer in order to produce this very special yarn and thanks to the proximity of the farms to our mill, Mota is produced with one of the smallest carbon footprints on the market!
The resulting yarn is a soft and lofty 3 ply DK-Worsted that will give each project a special connection to the origins of its materials. Offering a wide variety of colors and shades, Mota lets your imagination run free!

Be aware these balls are DOUBLE the yardage of your usual 50 gram balls, they come in a generous 100 gram size. Be sure to check the yardage that you need for your project before ordering.
